The Band Tartan

SFFPD is proud to have it's own registered Scottish tartan worn as the band's uniform kilt. Each of the colors have a special meaning to both fire fighters and law enforcement officers.

WHITE represents the chief & command officers.
RED represents devotion to duty.
YELLOW represents the Sacramento State Capital that we protect.
GREEN represents Scottish and Irish heritage of the bagpipes.
BLUE represents all fire fighters and police officers on the line.
BLACK honors all fallen fire fighters and police officers.
